About Chief Editor
Dr. N.K. Neb is an Associate Professor in the P.G. Dept. of English at DAV College, Jalandhar. He did his Ph. D. on the novels of Shobha De from GNDU Amritsar in 2004. His books on Indian English fiction, literary theory and poetry have been appreciated by scholars and students of literature. Apart from this he has edited six books on English literature that have been widely quoted. His more than forty research papers have appeared in edited books and various literary journals. He has been the Editor of Pragati‘s English Journal since 2001.
As General Secretary of Pragati Educational Council, he has organized six national seminars on English literature and instituted Literary Excellence Award (since April 2018) to encourage the budding writers and critics. His novel ‘The Flooded Desert’ and the book ‘Comprehensive English Grammar’, have been prescribed by Khalsa College Amritsar for the students of B.A. Social Sciences, and B.A. Honors.
His article ‘The Magic World of Poetry and Poetic Art of Kulbhushan Kushal’ has been prescribed by SCS (Autonomous ) College , Puri in Odisha for M.A. English students for the academic session 2017-2020. He has written more than ten units of SLM for the students of M.A. English, Directorate of Open and Distance Learning, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
